Two ways to respond
Once you understand how much your circadian rhythm depends on light exposure, you're left with a choice: opt out of modern life entirely, or use that knowledge deliberately to protect your rhythm while still living in it. The second is obviously the realistic one, and it comes down to a few concrete habits.
Get outside early, and often. Morning sunlight is the strongest reset signal your circadian clock gets. If you can see actual daylight (not through a window — glass filters out a meaningful chunk of the beneficial red and infrared wavelengths while doing little to reduce blue and UV) within the first hour of waking, you're doing the single most effective thing for your rhythm. Spending time outdoors during the day, even in shade, reinforces it further.
Manage light differently once the sun goes down. Screens and household lighting after dark work against everything morning sunlight does. Reducing exposure, dimming environments, and being deliberate about what light reaches your eyes in the hours before bed all help protect the melatonin release your body is trying to run on schedule.
