The science

SCREEN LIGHT VS. YOUR EYES

Your eyes weren't built for 8 hour screen days. The science backs it up.

Protects your sleep

In Harvard research, evening blue light suppressed melatonin nearly twice as long as green light and shifted the body clock by 3 hours.

Eases digital eye strain

Glare, reduced blinking and constant refocusing drive the dry eyes, blur and headaches of screen fatigue.

Built for heavy screen days

60% of adults spend 6+ hours a day on screens and 28% clock 10+. Veralas is made for that reality.

Blocks 100% of UV

UV400 lenses block UVA and UVB rays up to 400nm — protection that goes beyond blue light alone.

The Difference

Not all tinted lenses are the same.

See the difference for yourself.

VERALAS
Color built into the lens

The tint is part of the lens material itself, so the filtering doesn't fade as the lens gets everyday wear.

Engineered for real filtering

Built specifically to filter the wavelength range linked to melatonin suppression, not just to look tinted.

Blocks most blue & green light

Filters the large majority of the 400–550nm range — the band most linked to disrupted sleep.

Built to last

Because the tint is part of the lens and not a coating, filtering power holds up through everyday scratches and wear.

Standard coated lenses
Surface-coated lenses

The color is only painted onto the surface, so scratches wear the coating — and the filtering — down over time.

No independent verification

Usually tested with in-house methods only, with no independent lab confirming the numbers.

Light still gets through

Often filters only a narrow slice of blue light, missing much of the range that actually matters for sleep.

Coating wears off

As the surface coating wears away, filtering drops fast and the lenses need replacing sooner.

Eye health

Blue light does more damage than you'd think

The tired eyes are a symptom. The cause is the artificial blue light behind them.

Why screens drain your eyes

Why screens drain your eyes

All day, screens and LEDs push concentrated blue light at your eyes. They rarely get a rest.

Why 3PM feels brutal

Why 3PM feels brutal

The strain builds hour by hour. By mid-afternoon, your eyes and your focus are running on empty.

Why it doesn't reset by morning

Why it doesn't reset by morning

Strain accumulates over years, not hours. Block it early and your eyes hold up far longer.

Questions

We've got answers

Which one is good for Screen?

It's simple Dawn is good for daily use, Amber is great for evening and your scrolling and laptop work it blocks good amount of blue light. Blackout is good before bed as its great for your melatonin and sleep

Do they fit over prescription glasses?

No these are non-prescription frames worn on their own, not clipons.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we ship worldwide

How do I clean and take care of them?

Wipe with the microfiber cloth included in your case avoid paper towels or rough fabric, which can scratch the lens over time. Store them in the case when not in use rather than leaving them loose.

How VERALAS is different from the cheaper products on Amazon?

Most budget blue light glasses use a thin surface coating that filters a small slice of blue light and wears off over time. Veralas lenses have the tint built into the lens material itself, engineered to filter significantly more of the range that actually affects sleep and eye strain.

Do I really need all three lenses, or can I just get one?

ou can absolutely start with one. Most people start with Blackout (the pre bed lens) since that's where the biggest, most noticeable difference shows up, then add Dawn once they feel the difference and want it during the day too. The full 3-lens system just means the right filtering for the right hour no single lens can do all three jobs well.
